Furthur

This July we saw Furthur at Merriweather and at the pre-party I spotted some folks sporting a Maryland themed Steal Your Face shirt. It turns out they had created the design themselves.

They had some extra shirts in the car...within minutes I had my very own Maryland Steal Your Face shirt...talk about a miracle!

I also spotted a fabulous custom Grateful Dead themed needlepoint belt.

I was thrilled when they  played Althea...my favorite Dead song of all time.

Today would have been Jerry Garcia's 70th Birthday and in celebration select movie theaters across the country are showing the The Grateful Dead Movie.

Only you would find that belt in a crowd at Merriweather! The tshirts are so creative!

I spotted the belt at a party before the show...it was a pretty fashion forward group as far as Dead Heads go! xx

I want that t-shirt! Great post, the Grateful Dead and summer seem to go hand in hand...making our annual trip to the DSO show at the Bottle and Cork next week!

I grew up loving the Dead as well. It was always playing in the background at the cottage in the summer. My dad has always been able to successfully match his old Dead shirts with "preppy" clothes. A true visionary :D xoxo

Do you know where/how I could buy one of those MD Dead t-shirts? They're incredible.
