Stardust Cruise

In Martha's Vineyard we had a date night that started off with a sunset cruise on the Stardust. The Stardust is docked at Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. As we waited in the lobby of the hotel I spotted this model of the Stardust.

The Stardust is a wooden boat that was built in 1966.

Captain Mike showed us our course before heading out.

It was so much fun seeing all of the beautiful boats and homes in the harbor.

We swung by the liquor store in Edgartown before the cruise and couldn't resist bringing a little bit of Maryland aboard.

JCW & EAS

I wore a navy & white print Elizabeth McKay shirt.

Before the cruise it looked like it was going to rain but the sky cleared which left us with the perfect temperature...

and a lovely sunset.

The views were breathtaking.

We can't wait to go back for another date night.

A couple weeks prior to our cruise aboard the Stardust JCW's friends from Georgetown got engaged on the boat and Lindsay from Vineyard Loveknots just got engaged aboard the Stardust over Columbus Day weekend...best wishes and congratulations to both couples!

Special thanks to Captain Mike who was highly entertaining, told great stories, was an excellent photographer and who's girlfriend quickly became JCW's niece and nephew's favorite babysitter on the island.

Isn't Edgartown fun! My wife and I were there a couple of 4th of July's ago! Did you get a chance to go over to Chappaquiddick Island?
When staying on MV we stayed outside of Gay Head on a farm my sister-in- law who rents the farm each summer. MV is great vacation destination! Did you end up staying at Hugh Taylor's(Singer James Taylor's youngest brother) B&B?
