Radcliffe Jewelers in Towson Town Center just started selling Vintage Handbags in the store and online.

 

When I first laid eyes on the Hermes Birkin bags my heart started to race and hasn't stopped since.

They also carry a large selection of Louis Vuitton and Chanel. I can't get enough of the gold hardware.

 

Next time you're in the mall and feel like selling a bag or just accelerating your heart rate, stop in Radcliffe Jewelers and check out their Vintage Handbag Boutique.

 

Serena & Lily

 

Every time I go to the Serena & Lily website, I become more and more obsessed. They have lovely bedding, a wonderful nursery selection and I just noticed their impressive art collection. I am loving the color pallet of various blues & white with a touch of coral. Now that the wedding is over I am going to focus more on finishing our house.

One of the many selling points of our house were the beautiful blue hydrangeas plants. I waited all year for them to bloom.  

  

Having the house filled with hydrangeas was such a treat. I am planning on pruning them this summer because they are getting a little too large, any tips?

When I began wedding dress shopping, I quickly realized that my criteria was a dress with no beading, sequins, chiffon, lace, tulle or rhinestones. I wanted simple with bows or ruffles. I decided to steer away from strapless gowns even though I always wear strapless dresses. After talking to friends that had to keep pulling up their strapless gowns while dancing at their weddings, comfort became my number one concern. I have known for years that when it came to our wedding day, toe cleavage was the only cleavage JCW wanted me showing. He doesn't ask for much and we happened to be in full agreement.    

 

I had only tried on a handful of wedding gowns before making an appointment at Gamberdella. I arrived at the shop and gave them my ever growing list so they could pull dresses. While waiting, I looked through the racks of bridesmaid dresses and saw a Lazaro dress in Ravens purple. It was super light, comfortable, wouldn't require an army to help me use the restroom and the only detail was a ruffled shoulder strap. They told me it could be ordered in ivory. I checked the dress off my list and never thought twice about my decision.

These Stubbs & Wootton Espadrilles were on standby but I didn't end up wearing them until after the reception. My wedding shoes were so comfortable which was probably a combination of the low heel and the fact that I never took them off so my feet didn't have a chance to hurt.

Starbucks always makes the day a little sweeter, especially on your birthday, when it's on the house! I am looking forward to redeeming my Birthday Reward today. I recently started ordering the Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade as an afternoon treat. It's been the perfect pick-me-up in Maryland's scorching July heat.

Wedding Preparation

Peep-toe Louboutins that I ordered from Neimans. The name of the shoe was "Milady" which made me feel very Downton Abbey.

Vintage Cartier Love Bracelet from Radcliffe and my bouquet of white hydrangeas.

I wasn't the only one with new shoes. JCW opted for a pair of Gucci 1953 Loafers.  

He pulled out an Alton Lane shirt, Nantucket Reds and Navy Blazer from his closet...

...along with a Vineyard Vines bowtie that one of my girlfriends had given him years ago.

Wedding Venue

Our wedding ceremony was held at Captain Chesapeake's home. He's a family friend and avid antique collector.  

 

JCW picked up my bouquet on his way to the house. Seeing him at the bottom of the stairs, bouquet in-hand was one of my favorite moments of the whole day.

The lawn was set for a simple ceremony.

I was totally relaxed and even managed to do a little instagramming after hair & makeup.

Summer Radar

A great hat is key for the beach and I am really feeling Tuckernuck's Harding Lane hat in Island Green.

  

I am almost finished reading The Darlings, than I am going to start Revenge Wears Prada.

 

This Beachgrass Tote is just the right size for carrying around my SLR camera and still looking chic.

I have been obsessed with ESO Strawberry Lip Balm.

 

If I had a Star Spangled Spatula I may even want to work the grill...not that JCW would ever let me.
