Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day JCW and I spent the day in Annapolis.

 

We walked down Maryland Avenue which is one of my favorite streets.

I had to pick something up at Star Monograms and Belle taught JCW the baby ropes.

 

We had brunch at a new restaurant called Iron Rooster and are definitely going back.

 

I got a little something for our little one on the way from Wheat.

Before heading out we stopped at Kilwins for some treats.

That evening, friends hosted a Valentine's dinner.

We couldn't have asked for better food or company.

The molten chocolate cake for dessert was the perfect ending to a very sweet day.

Aden + Anais for Serena & Lily

Serena and Lily just launched a collection with Aden + Anais. I have way too many swaddle blankets and bibs to justify another purchase but I think they're adorable nonetheless. I already have the Safari Blanket and I love that they incorporated that design into the Aden + Anais pieces.

I had to share these blue & white print dresses from Naeem Khan's Pre-Fall 2015 collection. I saw the images on Moda Operandi and thought they were truly stunning. 

3 Things

My co-workers threw me a fabulously fun shower complete with baby games and a lovely country view.

We got to shower my friend who is due two weeks after me. She's having a little girl as well and it's been wonderful to be on this pregnancy journey together.    

I feel like everywhere I go someone gives me a baby gift or has kind words of advice...I'm going to miss being pregnant.

I've been getting the nursery together and I'm still waiting on a few things to arrive. JCW has been such a help, I've put him to work! I'll share some images once it's complete but here are a few items already in the nursery. Pottery Barn Kids has been a life saver...I'm obsessed! 

CK Bradley Wedding Dress

If you've been following my blog it's no surprise that I've been a huge fan of CK Bradley. I just saw this custom CK Bradley wedding dress and my closet shed a tear. 

How much fun are the navy grosgrain stripes on this reversible skirt?  

My fingers have been crossed that CK Bradley resurfaces and I was thrilled to see an Instagram photo this morning that said "So many prints... Which ones are comin' back?" 

Pomegranate

I would love to add these Pomegranate linens to my collection. I can picture myself using the Hunt Club Napkins all the time but I am also partial to all the whimsical patterns like the Zebra motif.
