Bridgehampton Polo

During vacation we went to a polo match at Two Trees Farms in Bridgehampton.

It was a treat to watch such skilled players and well trained polo ponies.

After a beautiful day at polo we picked up dinner from Serafina.

Hampton Designer Showhouse

I had been reading about the Hampton Designer Showhouse before we left for vacation and I was very excited to finally see all of the spaces in person.

Tobi Fairley designed one of the six bedrooms and her room certainly stood out from rest...that pink and green color pallet had me at first glance.

The bold chinoiserie fabric gave the room a crisp freshness.

The focal point of the lower landing by Welhil Interiors was a map of the Hamptons and one of my favorite aspects of the house.

Tilton Fenwick's lounge was filled with interesting elements like this bar cart.

The pool house had the most stylish beer pong table I had ever seen...I haven't played in years.

Brady Design stuck with their beer pong theme so instead of business cards they had ping pong balls.

East Hampton Exploring

 I had to check out the Lilly Pulitzer in East Hampton.

I always love all of the wall paintings that adorn the Lilly stores. I wish you could buy actual works on canvas to hang in your home. What do you think Lilly?

No two signature stores are the same...they all have their own special touches.

Why can't all buses be Tory Burch?

Every time I see a personalized Goyard I start thinking about having one of mine monogrammed.

I stopped into Roberta Roller Rabbit to pick up a new kurta.

Roberta's Scottie named Romeo greeted me at the door and then Roberta came over and said hello. I told her how I grew up with a Westie and a Scottie. Roberta was even more amazing then her store...I know that seems hard to believe but it's true.

As sophisticated as East Hampton is, it's just a beach town with lush green acres, road side stands and the charm of a small town.

The seafoam green gate at Martha Stewart's home matches the trim of her house.

La Fondita is a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine...the fish tacos were spectacular.

By far the best deal in East Hampton.

The beach in East Hampton was gorgeous and the perfect place to get lost in thought.

Stairway to Heaven

After the beach we went to the legendary Lobster Roll in Amagansett. It's also known as "LUNCH" because of the sign seen from Route 27.

Lunch has been around since 1965 and is a super casual seafood restaurant.

I have never met a lobster roll I didn't like especially when it's heavy on the mayo.

Spumoni Gardens Pit Stop

On our way to East Hampton JCW suggested stopping at  L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn for dinner. I love pizza and I had been restricting calories for three days in anticipation of hanging with him...so I was totally on board for a pizza pit shop!

L&B Spumoni Gardens is famous for they're Deep-Dish Sicilian Pizza which I typically don't order but this deep-dish was surprisingly light and airy.

The restaurant was packed and you could tell it was a neighborhood hangout. It was kind of like being on a reality TV show...similar to Jersey Shore or Jerseylicious.

After an evening of eating pizza, only one major road rage incident and jamming out to tunes in the car; we were happy to wake up in East Hampton...

Summer Sail
