For breakfast we went the Lewes Bake Shoppe.
We split a Ooey Gooey and a Sticky Bun... the Ooey Gooey just may be our favorite thing about Lewes.
After breakfast we headed to Cape Henlopen.
The wind was roaring and the views were absolutely magnificent.
The sun was shining but it was still rather chilly.
We had a great time exploring and certainly burned off that Ooey Gooey.

The whitecaps were rolling in.
View from the Hawk Watch...the next stop was where JCW popped the question.

Lewes, DE
Last month we spent the weekend in Lewes, DE which turned out to be our engagement weekend.
Lewes is a historic and charming little town.
The main street was still buzzing during the off season.
Lewes Canal connects the Broadkill River to Rehoboth Bay.
Canalfront Park has one of only 17 remaining lightships out of a total of 179 built from 1820 to 1952.
We stayed at Hotel Rodney.
The hotel was a wonderful mix of contemporary style paired with traditional elegance.
The first night we had a lovely dinner at The Buttery. I ordered the crab salad special...go figure.

H&H Home
H&H Home is an industry favorite among interior designers, stylists, and shelter bloggers as a go to source for unique, vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces for any interior space and budget. All items are individually selected and re-invented using vibrant yet classic colors and textures. Based out of Atlanta, former NYC fashion magazine and sales vets Heather Hogan Roberts and Helen Harbin Davis have brought their fresh and modern approach to interior styling and home design. The designers behind H&H believe that just like your closet, your home should be an elegant extension of your personal style.
The H&H website is a lot of fun to poke around and it has inspired me to go hunting for knick knacks and home accessories.

MBW's Shower
Lilly Pulitzer was a constant theme at MBW's baby shower.
I gave her pink Patagonia mittens for those Boston winters.
MBW's sister in-law gave her the cutest pink & green gown from Dear Johnnines and of course it was monogrammed.
There is really no comparison between a pink rubber ducky and a yellow one.
I loved the bow detail on this shift dress.
Black Bottoms are a staple here in Maryland.
The favors were pink hand sanitizers and cookies.
I am so very excited for MBW and can't wait to meet her little one! xx
