We mourn the loss of UVA student Yeardley Love of Baltimore County, Maryland. Our thoughts are with her. We send prayers of hope and peace for the family and friends and keep them in our hearts.

- I simply adore the American flag and I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I love wearing anything with ruffles. I have a special place in my heart for animals and the water. I cherish photography and sculpture. I believe in fate. Summer is my favorite time of year. I like smelling cinnamon buns. I can’t live without back-rubs, online shopping, heating blankets, pink nail polish, plaid and hydrangeas. I get excited before a storm. There should be more random acts of kindness. I love antiques and decorating. I mostly wear flats. Anything seersucker is adorable. I will never get sick of eating tomato mozzarella. The best thing about the beach is outdoor showers and eating candy. All pools should be heated. -EAS

I had not heard this, this is SO sad. This kinda reminds me of the Tiffany Souers deal at Clemson like 5 years ago. My heart goes out to the family.

Oh my goodness, that is so terrible. Prayers are with her family and friends.
So sad. Did you know her? I have been watching the story on the news and am so shocked and saddened.
This wholoe affair is a nasty piece of business...and an unspeakably sad time for the girl's family.
Here in Philadelphia a Iniversity of Penna. student who was Capt. of the football team hung himself last week...it is very disturbing when such adversity is visited on college kids and college campuses.
Such a tragic story. I can't imagine what these two families are going through.
