When we were in NYC I decided to check out the Lilly Pulitzer store on Madison Avenue for a little birthday shopping while JCW hunted down pimento cheese sandwiches at Hill Country Chicken.
The staircase was lined with framed Lilly fabrics.
Of course I loved all of the blue and white porcelain pieces throughout the store.
There were inspiration boards used as decor that were very similar to the ones I saw when I toured the Pink Palace.
I couldn't get enough of the paintings on the walls and in the dressing rooms.
This dressing room told the story of how Lilly Pulitzer began.
The store had so many special touches and was by far the most magnificent Lilly Pulitzer I have visited.
The Lilly sale really rocked the East Coast yesterday! I hope everyone was safe after yesterday's earthquake. Did you score any earth shaking deals from the Lilly sales?

Wow that store is awesome. Some of the decorations resemble the King of Prussia store too.
I just posted about my deals from yesterday!
the Lilly store on Madison is so fun...i love that its a townhouse. It actually has a crank elevator behind the register!
I love that store! The people who work there are so friendly and nice and the decor is so fun!
I wish I had a curvy pink staircase...I guess I'll have settle for a square(pale)pink bathroom
Love the store!
Oh my gosh this is so precious, NEED to make a trip here! The closest Lilly retailer to me just closed so what a great excuse to :) Ordered a Murfee scarf from the sale yesterday but I'm hearing a lot of people found out later that the items they had purchased ended up being out of stock so I'm hoping I don't experience that too!
They didn't skimp on a single darn detail -- I love it! What a pretty store, and I love that curvy staircase.
Love that store, I try to stop in every time I'm in the city. It's so pretty! Also-LOVE Hill Country-delish!

Like the wall treatments of the store! Especially the tubes of paint motif...lots of fun, well done Lilly designers!
I too love the paint tubes. What a clever and creative design. I need to pay more attention to the sales...and was rocked in my car. Thought the wheels were falling off. Where were you? xoxo
Like you were a bishop and got to visit the Vatican....lol
I am so out of the loop and so knee deep in house biz that I havent' even been. Bummer! Looks so pretty though and I will definitely have to come up for air and pay them a visit.
The Madison Avenue store is one of my favorites!
Love the dressing rooms. So pretty.
Beautiful! Trying to work my way up there for the holiday season *fingers crossed*...
Hope you also scored a few new pretties during yesterday's sale - love your birthday finds! :-) XOXO

Oh my goodness, I'm so in love with this post. The walls are so cute and I love how they decorated everything in pink and green, but its not overwhelming. Love, love, love!
I haven't been in NYC since the Madison store opened and am going in a few weeks - it's going to be one of the first places I visit!
The skirt I ordered from the sale yesterday arrived at my doorstep today, I'm impressed!
Love the pictures of the store! Glad you got some new Lilly! I love their shopping bags! I shopped the online sale and might go back for more :)
I loveee the fitting rooms! Something fun around every corner in that store.
LOL @ the sale... you're so right. I actually showed *some* restraint for once in my life.
Ahhh, this blog post was heaven to my eyes! Love all your finds!
OMG! I just recently started blogging and my very first post was about the RIDICULOUS sale at the Lilly store on Madison in July. I was just there for the weekend and almost had a heart attack when I walked in to find such a super sale... Hope you found some good stuff!
I do love the special features of that Lilly store - very cute and inviting!
Isn't it perfection? I could very happily LIVE in this Lilly. XO
