Federal Hill

After lunch we walked to the top of Federal Hill to take in the magnificant view of Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

The flag has 15 stars and 15 stripes which is a replica of the 1814 flag that flew over Fort McHenry. It's called "The Star Spangled Banner Flag" because it inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star-Spangled Banner.

Just behind me is the memorial for The Pride of Baltimore which was lost at sea in 1986. The memorial is a raked mast of a Baltimore Clipper and lists the names of those lost in the tragedy.

It felt more like June than January...that's my kind of winter weather.

Walking up and around the hill with my dog is one of my favorite routes and has such great views of the waterfront!

My shirt is from the T. Hilfiger Outlet. After seeing all of the TH holiday commercials I had to stop in when we were at the beach! xx
