- I simply adore the American flag and I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I love wearing anything with ruffles. I have a special place in my heart for animals and the water. I cherish photography and sculpture. I believe in fate. Summer is my favorite time of year. I like smelling cinnamon buns. I can’t live without back-rubs, online shopping, heating blankets, pink nail polish, plaid and hydrangeas. I get excited before a storm. There should be more random acts of kindness. I love antiques and decorating. I mostly wear flats. Anything seersucker is adorable. I will never get sick of eating tomato mozzarella. The best thing about the beach is outdoor showers and eating candy. All pools should be heated. -EAS

I can find any excuse to eat crabs, although crabbing season in Maryland does not officially begin until April 1, I am game for crabmeat any time!

It's been a little busy around here, but with today's celebration of crabmeat (and who doesn't adore a good crab cake?) I had to stop by and say hello. I love the little cosmetic bag and will have to indulge in a crab cake benedict this weekend. Take care and enjoy yours!

National Crab Day has me yearning for warm weather even more, especially after our warm spurt earlier this week. It was so lovely to "meet" you yesterday and thank you for supporting the JLB! You would not believe how many compliments I received throughout the night on that scarf...
