Artifact Coffee

The owners of one of my favorite restaurants, Woodberry Kitchen have opened a coffee shop called Artifact which is right up the street.

Before flying out for summer vacation, I met Nelle at Artifact for a coffee date. She carried her Grandmother's Nantucket Basket in honor of my trip.

Artifact has the same farm-to-table philosophy as big brother Woodberry Kitchen.

They serve pellet ice, which is the Rolls Royce of ice as far as I am concerned.

I would call the vibe/atmosphere green & relaxed.

They carry an array of homemade pastries (even gluten free) in addition to breakfast sandwiches and lunch items.

Artifact offers coffee cuppings on Fridays, which allows you to sample different blends.

Just look for the "A" at Union Mill when you pay Artifact a visit.

There were two Mexican restaurants in our college town and we always chose one over the other because they had pellet ice - it's the best!

Erin,
I love spots like this.
We need one of these in our village.

Artifact looks adorable. I do not make it over to that end of town as often enough as I would like!

I absoluteLY adore pellet ice! Why don't more places have it? I want it at home! Looks charming! The joint, not the ice! Tee heee!
