We stayed at the Hilton in La Jolla which was very close to Del Mar. We instantly fell in love with Del Mar and that quickly became our beach spot.
I was told that L'Auberge was a must-see in Del Mar so we stopped in for drinks before dinner.
The hotel interior was lovely and packed with topiaries.

I was very happy with my seafood tower. We even had a smalltimore moment and met some folks that had family in Baltimore.

Love LaJolla and Del Mar. We lived out in that beautiful part of the country.
What a beautiful part of the world!
Oh my gracious, that seafood tower!
you look so cute and looks like a lovely vaca!
Oh I spent my summers in Del Mar as a little child. It's by far the best place in San Diego.
I love your tunic in the top picture.
Love it! Have to go there! So close to me! Another Lilly give away going on!
What a fabulous trip! Where did you get that beautifully patterned pink bag or coverup or whatever that is in your beach photo? Love it.
Laura,
It's a tunic from Boden...a couple years old. xx http://letthetidepullyourdreamsashore.blogspot.com/2011/09/beach-lunch.html
