Snowpocalypse 2010 I

The snow started to fall Friday afternoon.

The next day the snow was still coming down. Apparently the winds got up to 40 mph.

You couldn't even see the cars parked on the street.

We deiced to take a hike in the middle of the storm.

Trekking up hill in that much snow proved to be rather difficult.

Some had an easier time then others.

It was my workout for the day.

Everything was snow covered.

JCW made waffles when we got home.

I definitely earned that meal.

Your snow pictures are impressive - what a lot of snow! And the yummy waffles look like the right answer to all of that snow.

Great snowy pictures. The snow in Amsterdam has completely dissapeared but it is freezing again and everybody is preparing for iceskating on the canals and lakes.

It really looks like a little wonderland of beauty! Enjoy it while it is here! Humid east coast summer will be here before we know it!

Looks like a winter wonderland! I'm in NY and we are expecting snow this evening...I anticipate waking up tomorrow morning and going sledding with my little kiddies! You'll be getting more too? Enjoy!

I can't decide if I'm loving this snow, or hating it! Getting out and about for hikes and sledding is great, but now I think I'm ready to get back to "regular life". Great pictures!!

P.S. I left you a little surprise on my blog :)

What a winter wonderland! Tramping around in fresh snow is one of the things I miss most about the East Coast! At least we still have waffles. Thanks for letting me do a little living vicariously!

Ha! I'll say! My Prince always tries to convince me that "you can eat anything after a good cardio workout - it won't count..." LOL
