Speaking of hunters...have you ever posted about how to clean them if they get all those white marks on them? If so please let me know. Mine are covered in white marks. I have washed them with soap and water but i didn't want to use any harsh chemicals. Any advice? Jenny
Great pic. Love love love the hydrangeas. I cut some about a month ago while they had this awesome antique-y look to them and dried them in a Nantucket basket. Hope they last all winter so I can savor the summer each time I look at them!
I'm with you, I just wish Mother Nature was on board here, too. Still experiencing temps in the 90s this week. Fingers crossed that the cooler Autumnal weather arrives soon!
To anonymous: every pair I've ever bought has gotten those white marks, and they go away as I wear them more. Not sure what causes them but as the finish wears down, I find that the marks disappear too.
I simply adore the American flag and I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I love wearing anything with ruffles. I have a special place in my heart for animals and the water. I cherish photography and sculpture. I believe in fate. Summer is my favorite time of year. I like smelling cinnamon buns. I can’t live without back-rubs, online shopping, heating blankets, pink nail polish, plaid and hydrangeas. I get excited before a storm. There should be more random acts of kindness. I love antiques and decorating. I mostly wear flats. Anything seersucker is adorable. I will never get sick of eating tomato mozzarella. The best thing about the beach is outdoor showers and eating candy. All pools should be heated. -EAS

Summer is having its last gasp here as the temps will be in the 90s. I shall be savoring the last few hours of Summer.

Are you going to Shawan Downs this weekend? It is one of my favorite fall gatherings. xoxo
I keep my Hunter boots by my door and always have my umbrellas in them!
How freaking cute is that!
