Cocktail hour was held on the golf course at sunset.
The club dates back to 1892. The fox head logo is on just about everything.
Instead of a sit down dinner there were tables filled with all different types of food...everything from mini crabs cakes to sushi.
The tent had several different seating areas and I loved the pink & green lanterns as a backdrop.
I got to meet the bride's brother Hoby and her sister in-law Christina. You may recognize them from Summer in Newport...they are very close friends of Kristin Pearce. Christina has an amazing blog with recipes and party planning tips.
Hoby's Stubbs & Wootons
EAS & JCW
The cake was decorated with flowers and ferns.
JCW loading up his plate with late night eats...there were sweet potato fries, mini burgers, hot dogs and grill cheese sandwiches.
The favors were tumblers that said "Poppy & Matthew" with the wedding date.
JCW & Poppy...she designed her own wedding dress complete with ruffles and bows.
The tumblers are such a great keepsake and perfect for southsides!
Reminder...today is the last day to enter my Shabby Apple giveaway for the Bow Skirt.

Your dress is adorable!
I love an event with indoor furniture moved outside! You have been to some fabulous weddings lately! I miss that. One year my husband and I went to over 10 weddings in one year. It seemed like all of our friends got married at the same time - around late 20's. I guess everyone had their careers established. We were so broke buying wedding gifts - lol!
I miss those days now! You look beautiful as always! xoxo
Love this! What an adorably preppy name too....Poppy.
Great to see a classic black tie wedding...
Looks fantastic! Tumblers are THE BEST idea!
You two attend the most amazing weddings - I love to see the wonderful themese, decor and attire (the Stubbs and Wooten shoes are so great). Their cake is gorgeous. And, love your dress and earrings - beautiful!
Ooooh, that wedding looks fun! I love the idea for heavy hors d'euvres rather than a sit down meal!
