I have always been drawn to antlers, driftwood, and seashells because of their organic shapes. I found this antler in an antique shop in Annapolis and knew it would be coming home with me.
The antler became JCW's new key hook.

great idea! that's perfect for a masculine hook!
You have gone big time!!!! Big picture on back page of the Style Section of The Wash Post. You and the other Prep queen, somebody named Birnbach :)
Cheers
Looks fantastic! Any excuse to go to Annapolis is welcome in my book... I see a trip there for some antiquing in my future.
EAS do yourself a favor and remove the Land Rover Discovery ignition key from that heavy and full key ring. The weight of all that will cause your ignition switch to fail...ask me how I know...
Just popped over after seeing a link in the Post! Congrats for the fantastic blog exposure. Love your blog, so glad to have found it!
That is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!! When we were out walking in our neighborhood the other evening, I saw a set of antlers(more Southwest looking than hunting lodge chic) hanging in the great room of a house. I immediately said I have to have one of those!
That is excellent... what a great idea! BTW, I am *mortified* to admit I didn't realize you weren't on the blogroll, eeek! The error has been corrected. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. (Yep...years in catholic school.)
Sending you a smile,
tp
Loooooooove this! I will have to do a similar project soon! What a great mix of the masculine and feminine.
Yahooo Erin! You are now Bigtime Preppy!!! The Washington Post author interviewed me at the VV store, but I didn't make the cut :) Great shot of you and SAS!!!!!
