Roberta Roller Rabbit

Another stop on my NYC to-do list was Roberta Roller Rabbit. In 2003 Roberta Freymann launched Roberta Roller Rabbit, a collection of women's, children's, and men's apparel; home furnishings, and hand painted furniture.

Roberta Roller Rabbit was named for a fable telling the tale of Roberta Rabbit. Roberta found this tale on discarded fabric in a basement in India. She brought the legend to life and started her collection with hand block printed kurtas. She is even referred to as “Queen of the Kurta”, so it is no surprise what SAS and I left the Lexington Avenue store with...kurtas!

I really like the bright colors. Not to sound like a nitwit, but what is a kurta? Is it like a tunic? Do you wear it alone of over slacks?

A kurta is a tunic top. I wore mine at the beach as a cover-up but would also pair it with white pants. The fabric is very light so they are perfect for warm weather! xx

Gorgeous patterns!! They would be so nice on pillows and frames. Great inspiration, thanks!

I looked for this line in the Baltimore area, it looks like Sassanova is the only store that carries it.
