Lawyer Liz's Party

In honor of Lawyer Liz's becoming a Mrs. we had a little cocktail party. LL and I both wore Elizabeth McKay. I wore the Grace dress and she wore the Scotland dress. We are both very excited for the spring 2011 collection.

Red velvet cupcakes were on the menu.

I made the favors by putting pictures of the happy couple on conversation heart boxes.

My mom made her delicious shrimp salad.

Reese's peanut butter cups are one of Lawyer Liz's favorites, so they were a must. In the background you will notice a picture of JCW and myself from 1995 in Nantucket...boy how time flies!

LL, I think all of the ladies may have had a little too much fun celebrating with you...have a great week in Florida my dear! xx

What a great party and love the Elizabeth McKay frocks! Her line is so lovely. Wow, you and JCW were sweethearts in 1995? You'll have to share that story. :)

I love in love with that duck platter with the fruit on top. Where is that from? Also, is it silver or petwer? Too cute! Also, the shrimp salad sounds wonderful, you should share the recipe sometime if you mother would allow. :)

My mom has had that duck platter forever...it’s pewter. I am going to ask her for her shrimp salad recipe but knowing my mother its going to be “add little of this and a little of that”. I will definitely think about a future post of the EAS and JCW story. The pink and green dress Alice was referring to is actually a top from J. McLaughlin...it’s from a few years ago. I am so glad you all liked the favors I thought they were very sweet! xx
