I got the idea for Baked Stuffed Lobsters after watching an episode of Diners, Drive-in and Dives.
Food always taste better when you haven't lifted a finger preparing it...JCW completely spoiled us by doing all of the cooking.
For dessert SAS made her famous Monkey Bread.

Oh,my daughter would have loved that! She doesn't like turkey, but she loves lobster! She wasn't real happy at our dinner!
WOW!! That's awesome he can cook stuff like that!
I love this twist! and how sweet of JCW to make everything-your right, food always tastes better when made by someone else! Love the blue and white china too!
That lobster looks so delicious. I wish we did the same this Thanksgiving (I'm not a huge fan of turkey). Jealous! xo, LP
OMG the lobster looks divine! What a wonderful twist on Thanksgiving. :) It looks like you all had a wonderful day!
Oh you have made me hungry for Thanksgiving all over again!! Everything looks simply delicious!
Hope you and your loved ones had a wonderful holiday my friend!
You MUST share the recipe of the baked stuffed lobsters! Looks amazing.
OhMyGoodness, these look amazing! You have me drooling right now. Can you make these for Christmas and have me over to eat? XO
We don’t have an exact recipe (which drives JCW crazy) but its pretty much the same as Becky’s stuffed lobsters (see the video on the link). We used a ritz cracker stuffing but doubled the shrimp, scallops, and crab meat...we omitted the fish. JCW also put the lobsters in the freezer before stuffing them, to make it more humane...I wouldn’t go near the kitchen!
The best part about this dinner was that my mom insisted we each have half a stick of butter...she is a bit of a Paula Dean when it comes to pushing butter!
Hannah, I am not sure yet what’s on the menu for Christmas!
xx
yum! I love monkey bread and that looks delish!
Yeah...there is no law you gotta have turkey on Thanksgiving...lobster! Once in a while my Mom would do a giant leg of lamb....
Nice! Now how up this at Christmas time? Better start recording the The Chew:-)
The tablescape is absolutely gorgeous and that baked stuffed lobster looks heavenly! Delish - so happy you had such a happy Thanksgiving! XO

Wow! That looks amazing! PS - My parents have the same blue/white plates. LOVE them!
Love the Blue Willow. It looks like Johnson Brothers, is it? I have JB Blue Willow. I keep trying to add to it, but have a hard time finding pieces other than the standard place setting pieces.

Looks gorgeous--you must share the lobster recipe! We make salmon with a bourbon-brown sugar glaze every year in lieu of turkey!
