Maximilian Sinsteden’s dorm room was revealed in the Home Design issue of New York Magazine in May of 2009. At the time he was a senior at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Maximilian worked with esteemed designer Charlotte Moss. She said “Max has a gift and a great eye, combined with raw energy and enthusiasm”. When it comes to interiors I am a firm believer against the statement less is more...I just love a filled space.

I looove the color green he chose for the walls!
What a gorgeous room! I agree, you really have to work hard to make the room agree with your style! I am still working on my dorm room! Have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend! xoxo
Love it!
Also, I gave you an award on my blog!
I have been obsessed with Max's room ever since it debuted in NYM I wish I could go back to college and design my room just as he did!
Oh love this! Something tells me I'd have to be friends with him!
I love the idea of colleges having supplied furniture as being optional, it would be so nice to decorate with items that fit YOU!
I loved this feature in NYM, his collection of ties is so fun!
I loved this when I saw it last year. I remember clearly how awful our brown This End Up furniture was in the dorms and on-campus apartments. I was in a dorm at my alma mater (Richmond) last fall and I was astonished at how creative the girls are now. The rooms don't look a thing like they did while I was there in the mid-90's.
This is one of my most favorite rooms ever. The kid is actually a friend of a friend. Inspired me to overhaul my studio this year and really make it mine!
Adore his room! Sure would have been nice if we had been able to bring our own furniture :)
Makes me wish I were a college student again.
I think my room would be the envy of all. (as his is!)
Love the Green walls. (and his pink pants!)
