Upper East Side to the West Village

Our journey on Lexington Avenue continued to William Wayne & Company.

I am always blown away by their blue and white selections.

Next stop was Dyland's Candy Bar.

I have been to Dyland's a few times but this was the first time they had a do it yourself chocolate fountain. I opted for a chocolate covered rice crispy treat.

No trip to NYC is complete without checking out the Goyard section at Barneys.

My lust list reached a whole new level.

We had a little rest and relaxation before heading to dinner.

EAS, BLS, SAS

My second birthday dinner of the weekend was at Extra Virgin.

I literally fantasize about their Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese Salad.

Roasted Artichoke Parmesan with Hollandaise

JCW & BLS

Lamb Three Ways

We were excited that Magnolia Bakery was open until 12:30 am. There were a few other patrons who were also seeking cupcakes at the stroke of midnight...in celebration of their birthdays.

SAS hopped the rope for a quick pose on this famous stoop...guesses?

My offical birthday arrived!

Hi babydoll! Have been thinking of you and hoping all is well!

Your birthday festivities sound like such a blast, complete with this fabulous dinner, OMG, you and I have both declared our love of goat cheese many times, and the pistachio crusted goat cheese salad above literally makes me die and go to heaven, absolute perfection! Just when it couldn't get any better, artichokes, parmesean, hollandaise, yummm! Magnolia bakery, perfect way to end your night honey!

LOVE the pic of you and your sis, so sweet, and you and JCW are looking lovely as always!

It sounds like you had a fantastic birthday weekend. And I adore your necklace. Such an updated way to wear pearls. Is that Carrie's stoop from SATC?

What a great birthday and fabulous photos! I adore blue & white lamps, too. We have one in our entry foyer. So jealous that you go to sneak in a shot on Carrie's steps. :)

As a guy, I was going to guess the Huxtables stoop from The Cosby Show. :)

I found a picture of the Cosby's here. Carrie's place is nicer than Cliff's.

Very funny about Cliff's v. Carries's stoop! Who didn't watch The Cosby Show?

Happy Birthday! Looks like you had a fabulous celebration. You hit many of my fave NYC stops, as well as C's (my little martian *wink*) favorites (Magnolia and Dylan's), too!
Cheers!

I'm late in the game, but my guess was Carrie's stoop as well. How much fun that SAS jumped right over the rope and had her pix made :)

Your supper looks delish, and Dylan's...Mmmmm....

I also knew it was Carrie's! The second I saw it I got tons of flashbacks from the show. Can't wait to add Wm Wayne & Co and Extra Virgin to my NYC list. You should also know that your mom's glasses are divine. ;)

Happy, happy birthday. I love your food shots. You are a girl after my own heart. I think my Facebook page should be called Foodbook. xoxo

I think I would have sat on those steps and looked for Big. Love all that blue and white - divine. I'm wondering if they were thinking it odd that you were taking photos of your food. Could she be a health inspector the waiters wondered?
