Natty Boh Shandy

Natty Boh Shandy is National Bohemian Beer combined with carbonated lemonade or ginger ale. Light beer works better and you can use any brand you desire but us Marylanders use Natty Boh. This is a simple cocktail and a fun way to lighten up your backyard BBQs or lacrosse pregames.

1/3 fizzy lemonade to 2/3 Natty Boh
garnish with a lemon slice -optional

I hear people order this at the club all the time but had no idea what it was!

This was always my favorite Lax pre-game drink, and no pre-game tailgate would be complete without the Maryland flag somewhere in the decor!

I am obsessed with Maryland flags. I even have a mini MD flag for tailgates...I stick it in the rum cake! xx

The Shandy was typically an English Pub concoction reserved for women...
Seems some proprieters of Public Houses felt the fairer sex could not handle the heavy ales and stouts and cut it with Lemonade or Ginger ale.
I think they are pretty refreshing and tasty....but do not pack the buzz I am seeking from beer...so have only had a few in my day. Good post Dear!

Oh how funny! Natty Boh is quit popular in our home :) Our first cat was Natalie Bogarde aka Natty Boh! My hubby recently made corn hole boards with big Mr. Bohs on them. I will have to post a photo for you to see :)
